Description

This half hog special is approximately 80 pounds of deliciously well-marbled Berkshire pork. We smoke our bacon in a two-story smokehouse with an actual lit fire for over twelve hours over hardwoods. We use the same process for our sausages…naturally smoked over hardwoods for a true authentic taste. The smoking process packs flavor into each bite in a safe and natural way.

We raise our Berkshire like our Wagyu beef, as a delicacy. We always feed a vegetarian diet with no antibiotics or animal by-products. Each family farm we work with is third-party audited and monitored by animal nutritionists so you can buy from Ma and Pa with the greatest consistency, quality, and ease. Our hogs even have higher levels of Minolta and pH (demonstrating higher quality). The Berkshire breed is a special one, and records first reported them in the United States in 1823.
